Keep your JackPack looking and performing like new with proper care.

CLEANING

REGULAR CLEANING (Every 2-4 weeks):
1. Spot clean with damp cloth
2. Use mild soap if needed
3. Wipe down zippers and hardware
4. Air dry completely

DEEP CLEANING (Every 3-6 months):
1. Empty all pockets
2. Hand wash in cold water
3. Use mild, non-detergent soap
4. Gently scrub with soft brush
5. Rinse thoroughly
6. Air dry completely (24-48 hours)

❌ DO NOT:
- Machine wash
- Tumble dry
- Use harsh detergents
- Use bleach
- Dry clean
- Iron

DRYING

ALWAYS AIR DRY:
- Hang in well-ventilated area
- Keep away from direct sunlight
- Keep away from heat sources
- Allow 24-48 hours to dry completely
- Ensure interior is fully dry before storage

Never store damp - this can cause:
- Mildew
- Odors
- Material degradation

WATERPROOF MAINTENANCE

RE-WATERPROOFING (Every 12-18 months):
Over time, waterproof coating may diminish with heavy use.

To restore:
1. Clean thoroughly
2. Apply DWR (Durable Water Repellent) spray
3. Follow DWR product instructions
4. Air dry completely

Recommended products:

- Granger's Performance Repel
- Scotchgard Heavy Duty Water Shield

STORAGE

PROPER STORAGE:
✓ Store in cool, dry place
✓ Keep away from direct sunlight
✓ Hang or lay flat (don't compress)
✓ Ensure completely dry
✓ Leave zippers slightly open (prevents stress)

❌ DON'T:
- Store in damp areas
- Store in plastic bags (traps moisture)
- Compress for long periods
- Store in direct sunlight
- Store near heat sources

ZIPPER CARE

Keep zippers functioning smoothly:
- Clean regularly (remove dirt/debris)
- Lubricate occasionally (zipper wax or candle wax)
- Don't force stuck zippers
- Close before washing
- Ensure no fabric caught in teeth

If zipper gets stuck:
1. Don't force it
2. Gently work it back and forth
3. Apply zipper lubricant
4. If still stuck, contact us for repair

SAFFRON ORANGE LINING

Preserve the vibrant orange:
- Avoid prolonged sun exposure
- Clean gently (don't scrub)
- Don't use harsh chemicals
- Air dry away from sunlight

Some fading over time is natural with use.

LEATHER PATCHES

Care for genuine leather:
- Wipe with damp cloth
- Condition occasionally (leather conditioner)
- Avoid excessive moisture
- Allow to air dry if wet

- Clean after muddy/dirty use
- Dry completely before storage
- Don't overload beyond capacity
- Rotate use if you have multiple bags
- Address small issues early (loose threads, etc.)
- Professional repair for major damage
